Shake Up and Wake Up

The Movement | Get Shifted: This is not yoga. A 60-minute movement class that intentionally draws out ALL the feels through movement, music, sounding and release. Offering an opportunity to SHIFT the energy within, release what feels stuck, and sweat out what no longer serves. The first half of class is filled with intensity, fluid dance-like movement, grapevines, jumping jacks, and climbers to get the heart pumping. Soothing, calm movements recalibrate the nervous system allowing the integration to begin with breathwork and tender stretching to complete the journey.


Heart Rhythm Coherence: We cannot wake up if our minds are perpetually distracted. We cannot wake up when we are operating out of fear. This zero-cost coherence practice will become your new go-to way of dropping back into yourself, finding calm, and creating harmony in your mind and body quickly. You will feel lighter and brighter. The front of your brain will turn back on and you'll find yourself operating on a different level, with creative and solution-driven thinking. You will tune into and begin to understand the communication of your heart, the seat of your intuition and gain confidence in operating from a place of higher knowing.


Intuition and Intention: We will now envision how we are going to feel in our lives moving forward. What we will release and what we will reimagine, ignite, and fuel. We will ask and receive answers and set intentions for days, weeks, and years ahead.

Together we are preparing ourselves to live with full intention in the moment, with presence, to elevate how we both perceive the world and show up in it.

Meghan Telpner is the founder of the Academy of Culinary Nutrition, two-time best-selling author, and fancies herself a bit of a farmer (it's a backyard thing).

In addition to her work as an outspoken health advocate, Meghan is a trained HeartMath Institute facilitator and has been sharing her unique approach to coherence in group settings for years.

Amber Joliat is a trained dancer and artist and has been a teacher of movement for over three decades. In 2010, she created The Misfitmethod out of a desire to move with strength and grace. Her method has been described as a transformative journey of the self, tapping into resilience within each of us. Inspired by the nature of Dance and Breath, rooted in yoga, informed by pilates, and driven by music, each class is an experience. 

By moving the physical body, and untangling the knots we so often hold within, we can all change our energy.


Meghan and Amber

We have been friends for nearly 20 years when Meghan found herself in one of Amber's classes in the winter of 2006. Since then, we have been weaving in and around each other's lives.

The idea for this event was born in the Fall of 2022 after a phone conversation where we asked each other:

  • What is going on?
  • What is the world that our children will grow up in?
  • How do we take our own experience over the last few years and transform it into service to the women who need to build up their strength and resilience?

This event is where we start.

This is where we ignite and nurture the most united, kind, compassionate, accepting and change-making community.

This is where we come together to do the work, create the world we want to live in, and tune in to ourselves - who we each are at our core. Here we will tune into our higher knowing that always invites us to rise up.

This is where we have a ridiculously super fun time as we move together, breathe together, celebrate together and connect from the heart.


What do I need to bring?

  • A small towel to mop up your glow
  • A yoga mat
  • Change of clothes (at least the top half- we're going to get sweaty!)
  • Blanket and/or cushion- optional for the meditation portion
  • A filled water bottle
  • A notebook and writing implement
  • An open mind

What if I can't make it? Can I get a refund?

All sales are final, if you are unable to make it for any reason, please gift your ticket to a friend and email us at hello@meghantelpner.com to let us know who will be coming in your place.

Will there be an option to tune in remotely via livestream?

This event is live, in person only.

I'd like to come but I can't be there on time, will this be a problem?
Please only register if you know you can attend, optimally arriving 15 minutes before the start of the event to check-in and get settled.

What are your 'health and safety' protocols?
We trust that folks who don't feel well, will use their best judgment and pass their ticket along if they cannot attend. Though the space is equipped with air filters, if you are actively sheltering in, distancing, and masking this may not be the event for you. There will be a lot of people moving and breathing in a single space.
